The Brow Effect

Want to know the secret to framing your face? YOUR EYEBROWS!

Everybody has the opportunity to have great brows! Scientists say we have eyebrows to keep the sweat and rain away from our eyes so we can see clearly. Yet another  reason to keep them groomed!

Step 1: Comb your brows to see their natural shape.

Step 2: Trim any flyaways or awry hairs.

Steps 3 & 4: Pluck any hairs above or below your natural brow, pulling in the direction the hair grows.

Step 5: Line up the inner corner of your eye with your eyebrow using a pencil or some tweezers. This is most commonly where your eyebrow starts.

Step 6: Angle your brush (or pencil – anything straight) through your pupil to the arch of your eyebrow for a better understanding of where your precise arch is.

Step 7: Measure to find where your eyebrows should end. They should pass the outside corner of your eye. This tends to be an area where you need to color in more.

Step 8: Pencil in any naked areas with short fine lines. Choose a color matching your natural brow, or darker if you’re feeling daring!

Voila! A perfect pair of manicured brows. Check out some of our iconic and stylish inspirations.
