If you watched the 9th season of American Idol, you might have missed Tori Kelly. Eliminated before the show went to air, 16-year-old Kelly sang her heart out for the judges of American Idol, failing to impress Simon Cowell (shocking), while leaving a good impression on the other three to get her into the next round. Not too shabby for a girl who had already been on a record label at 12. In the 5 years since then, Kelly’s arguably become bigger and better than any singing competition show would have made her. Long before Bieber had Selena, there was Jasmine V. She played the love interest in Justin’s music video for his first single “Baby.” Now Jasmine is taking center stage to breakout in the music industry without being known as the “girl from the ‘Baby’ video.” She is ready to prove that she can be an artist of her own and we love it! 20-year-old Jasmine Villegas signed with Sony Records at the age of 16. Currently signed to Interscope Records, Jasmine is working on her debut album, which is rumored to be released this spring! This budding artist is not afraid to speak her mind and belt out topics of cheating, dating and having fun, but of course all in a tasteful way. Her song “Werk” is a fun girl power anthem. Music Crush; 11 Reasons to Love Rixton

Move over One Direction there’s a new British boy band making their way to the U.S! The incredibly talented foursome Rixton comprises of Jake Roche (lead singer), Danny Wilkin (bassist/keyboardist), Lewi Morgan (drummer) and Charley Bagnall (guitarist). The group was discovered by The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes who then referred them to manager Scooter Braun. Rixton released their music video for their upbeat hit Make Out last October. The video parodies top-charting singles like Katy Perry’s Roar and Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball.  The comedic scenes include lots of cross-dressing, fun and of course making out!  We are crushing hard on Rixton from their rocking melodies to their cheeky accents.
