Fun with Pastels!

Fall 2013’s pastel trend has been renewed for the upcoming spring season! Get ready to incorporate this accent into your spring essentials. This winter we have seen a peak of pastels through celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Solange. Kim K. was spotted on a few occasions in pastel pieces through some of her infamous pencil skirts and oversized trench coats. Once the weather fully warms up and sustains in the upcoming months, we will soon trade in our jeans and opt for fun and free-feeling skirts. We gathered some of our favorite skirts with a tinge of color and flare. Sexy and sweet. This leather pastel pink skirt resembles strawberry ice cream and it would look amazing for a night out with friends in the city. This adorable skirt would be precious paired with an over-sized shirt and a pair of sneakers. Combining a feminine item with a more sporty choice places the look in the realm of sports-luxe. Fashion interns with not only superb work ethics, but an astonishing sense of style are …

Back On The Grind

At one point or another we have all set goals for ourselves. It can be something as simple as telling yourself you are going to wake up early in the morning, to saying you want to lose twenty pounds before a big event. It is no surprise to anyone that students around the world are beginning to set new goals for themselves as a new school year begins. YHM asks student, Shannon Kelly, to share her goals for the upcoming school session. I know every student probably sets the same goals when school starts. They tell themselves they want to get all A’s so they strive to do all of their readings, go to every class, and submit every assignment. Just like other students I want the same things, but now that I am older, newer goals are getting added to that list. My goal is to do my best to receive an internship that will set me up for life once I graduate. I feel that these opportunities are the best ways to allow …
