Vintage Beach Chic

The middle of summer is the prime time to leave your cares behind and hit the beach. Instead of worrying about uncomfortable sand, sweat, and sunburn, why not turn the occasion into something a bit more glamorous? Wearing vintage-inspired beachwear is the perfect way to feel like an Old Hollywood movie star while working on your tan.

The most important aspect of this outfit is, of course, the bathing suit! A one-piece with a bold print is flattering for many body types, as it provides full coverage and diverts the eye from areas we may not want on display at the beach.

When going to and from the beach, a cute and comfortable cover-up is a necessity, especially for those who may not feel comfortable wearing just a bathing suit. Crochet cover-ups have a vintage, feminine look that can make any beach girl feel chic.

To avoid any awkward tan lines, skip the bracelets and necklaces. Instead, wear a sweet pair of studs. Since this is the only piece of jewelry you’ll be wearing, go bold–don’t be afraid to try a printed earring!

Ditch the flip flops and let your feet be free on this trip to the beach. To add a little extra color to this outfit, match your toes to your earrings!

And there you have it: a glamorous outfit for some fun in the sun.

As always, we hope we’ve inspired you to create a glammed-up look for a day at the beach. And if someone asks where you got it from, make sure you mention your favorite online fashion magazine!
